If you read my New Year~New Goals post you are familiar with my goals for this year. I am on a quest do 30 new things this year in honor of turning 30. Yes it’s an honor to get old LOL. The first thing I am checking off my list is #4 try Indian food. My husband and I found an Indian resturant here in Charleston called Taste of India and liked the reviews so we decided to try it out.
We went on a Wednesday night so not many people were in the restaurant. At first I was a little skeptical, thinking maybe it wasn’t a good restaurant. I’m always nervous about trying new food. Little did I know I would be in for a surprise. The food was AMAZING and very flavorful. They also have a buffet so I will be going back!
We started with an Appetizer of Garlic Naan, which was recommended by the waiter. It was a great choice! For the main course I ordered their Chicken Ginger Kabobs, this was grilled chicken with a ginger flavor served with onions and green peppers. The plate was huge. My husband ordered their Chicken Curry, which he loved. Jeremiah of course had a sample of everything. We really enjoyed our meal and If you haven’t tried Indian food I highly recommend it.
Lets see what’s next on my list! Stay tuned đ
I just happened to be on your site and loved the fact that you tried indian food this week…whenever you go next, try tandoori chicken for appetizer and chicken tikka masala for main course…all my non-indian friends always go for this combination đ
Awe thank you Ruchi. Yes is was so good I will be going back for sure and will try this combo next time. Thank you:)
