There is something about food prep on Sunday that really motivates me for the up coming week. Having my meals cooked for the week helps me stay on track with eating clean. All I have to do is grab my tupperware out the refrigerator, reheat and I’m set. In the morning I love the protein muffins and hard boilded eggs, because I can grab and go. Feels good to be ready to conquer the week ahead!
- Banana Pumpkin Protein Muffins– Omit the banana and they are still good.
- Gluten Free Power Balls
- Grilled Chicken- Seasoned with Mrs. Dash Extra Spicy, salt, pepper, and Mrs. Dash Onion & Herb. Cook on George Foreman with mushrooms.
- Squash- Cut in half and remove seeds. Add 1 Tbsp, 1 tsp cinnamon and pumpkin spice and 1 tsp honey to both sides. Cook at 400 degrees for 45 minutes.
- Hard Boiled Eggs
- Peppers
I will be really focusing on my diet the next couple of weeks to prepare for my Cover Photo Shoot. Did I really say that!? If you didn’t see my announcement on Facebook, I won Oblique Magazine Best Female Abs in Charleston. This is something I’ve worked for all year and my dream actually came true. It would not have been possible without you all believing in me and voting. It really meant a lot to me to see everyone rooting for me. Thank you!
Those so sound good. Do you have nutrition info on the muffins?
Hey Wendi,
I don’t. A lot of people ask for the nutritional value, but since I don’t count calories I never do the macros. You could plug it into my fitness pal.
Ok, thanks
Can you tell me more about the power balls. Do you eat 2 for one of your meals? And with all that nut butter, are they okay to eat while I’m following the JE plan?
Oh, and what kind of protein powder do you use in them? thx.
I use MRM vanilla whey protein:)
Hey Natalee. I don’t use the power balls as a meal but more so a snack. I usually have 2 around 4pm before I teach at 5:30 for a little energy. I also don’t have them everyday.I wouldn’t recommend them for JE trainer unless you reduce the honey and maple syrup. Hope this helps:)
