If you are looking for a good workout, go to Thailand! Seriously they have so many great options for exercising. Working out was not a priority while I was there, but it happened and I am happy that it did. Besides walking a lot we did Rock Climbing, Muay Thai, Yoga and Trained with a Personal Trainer at “The Lab”. Rock climbing was on my 30 for 30 list and it was an amazing experience that allowed me to face my fears and challenge myself.

We climbed at Railay Beach on limestone rock. People from all over the world come to Thailand to climb these rocks!

While we were at the beach we also did some morning Yoga. It was a tough one!

This is “The Lab” a strength and conditioning facility located in Bangkok. As crazy as it seems and was, we did a group training session the day after we arrived. It was a circuit style workout doing 12 rounds with 4 exercises each round. We complained the entire time. It hurt so good!

Last but not least was Muay Thai, located at an outdoor facility in Bangkok. Thankfully it wasn’t too hot, but we still ended up dripping in sweat. I absolutely loved this workout. This was my first time trying any type of martial arts and I am determined to find one here in Charleston. It was a great high intense workout that included kicks, punches, and knee strikes. The one hour session included one-on-one training with a trainer.
