I am very excited to share with you my review on About Time 100% Whey Protein Isolate. Here is a quote from their website.

“About Time’s All Natural Whey Protein Isolate is the cleanest protein on the market. About Time holds a high standard of quality ingredients with zero sugar, zero carbs, and zero fat. About Time’s All Natural Whey Protein Isolate is one of the only whey protein products without artificial ingredients and we also use Stevia as our sweetener, which is an all natural sweetener.”

If you are looking for a clean protein powder this is it. I was very impressed with in ingredient list-only 4 ingredients. There are also no added carbs or artificial sweeteners. Their powders are also lactose free and gluten free. They truly believe in producing quality protein.

Along with quality of a protein powder, the taste is also important. Β I was sent four flavors to try banana, cupcake, granola cluster, and peanut butter chocolate. I have to admit I can’t choose just one favorite, they are all great.

I had a lot of fun with the Birthday Cake flavor and made myself some Birthday Cake Protein Pancakes. I used this recipe and added sprinkles and subbed the vanilla protein for birthday cake.

The next flavor I tried was Granola Cluster. I was a little sceptical about this one, because I wasnt sure what to do with it. I didn’t want to throw it in a shake, so did what I normally do with granola, I added it to greek yogurt. This is my all time favorite snack.

Protein packed granola? As a granola fanatic, this was amazing. Very flavorful and crunchy. I usually have to add almonds, chia seeds and cinnamon but this was already added to the cluster. I did add my own walnuts and it was a nice added texture and flavor.

I hope your not tired of yummy recipes yet, because this next flavor was created to make my husband a milkshake. Here we have chocolate peanut butter protein milkshake.

  • 1 cup milk or almond milk
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 ice
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 scoop About Time chocolate peanut butter protein
  • 1Tbsp peanut butter

combine all in blender and enjoy!

The last flavor I tasted was banana. I love bananas! I did something very special with this flavor and created, Gluten Free Banana Nut Bread. This is probably my favorite recipe now and the best part is my husband had no idea it was clean or had protein powder in it. Don’t worry I will share the recipe, but it will be posted on Friday. Stay tuned:)
