What I ate Wednesday! I don’t do this often, but a lot of people ask me what I eat, so this is a great way to share some of my clean eats. I love that Peas and Crayons created this!wiaw what i ate wednesday button happy healthy holidays

I didn’t include everything I ate today, but here are some of the meals I had. If you really want to know how I eat it’s simple; I eat clean, listen to my body, and enjoy treats:) I am all about balance, because this is a lifestyle and shouldn’t be stressful.photo-123

  1. Mexican Scrambled Eggs: 1 egg, 3 egg whites, black beans, spinach, onion, salsa and avocado. Nice change-up for my eggs and very filling.
  2. PB Banana Protein Shake: Post workout shake that I always look forward to. 1 scoop vanilla protein, 1/2 frozen banana, 1/2c almond milk, 1/2c water, 1 Tbsp PB2. Delicious!
  3. Taco Soup: Left overs from dinner yesterday. Recipe is here, but I changed it a little and did 1 small pack chicken breast with all ingredients in a slow cooker for 4hrs on high.
  4. Sugar Cookies: Made these from my Pinterest Board. The icing is vanilla protein powder with a little almond milk. They were good, but next time I won’t use as much honey they were a little sweet.
